For this project, I designed and structured a website for A Tavola-a platform that connects users with bars and restaurants in the Netherlands and Belgium. It allows users to make reservations, discover new places, order dinner boxes, and stay updated on events and offers.
Key deliverables included:
Wireframes with annotations have been designed for large screens, showing an overview of the venues, detailed pages of the venues, and the main features: filters, searches, and ratings. Flowchart that in detail describes how to implement functionality "Insieme a Tavola" to help users plan outings with groups according to preferences, location, and availability. User journey developed on a chosen persona for optimization from identifying a venue to post-visit follow-up.
Sitemap & Homepage Design: A sitemap was designed to organize all the pages, and a wireframe of the homepage was made as the interactive entry point of the website.
I paid attention to the implementation of clear, user-oriented information architecture, mixing bottom-up and top-down navigation, personalized filtering, and intuitive design patterns that meet the needs of users.
